Life and my Journey 2015,2016
Laking Davao
Davao OrientalDavao Oriental has a lot of destination to offer. Davao Oriental is the easternmost province of the country with Pusan Point as the easternmost location. The Philippine Sea, part of the Pacific Ocean, faces Davao Oriental to the east. Part of the province lies on an unnamed peninsula that encloses the Davao Gulf to the west.
Brief History: In 1942, occupied by the Japanese Imperial forces in the province of Eastern DavaoIn 1945, beginning the Battle of Davao from the combined forces of the British, Australian, Dutch and the Filipino troops of the 6th, 101st, 102nd, 103rd, 104th, 106th, 107th and 110th Infantry Division of the Philippine Commonwealth Army and 10th Infantry Regiment of the Philippine Constabulary was supported by the recognized Davaoeño guerrilla fighter units by the attack to the Japanese Imperial forces during the liberation in Eastern Davao or Eastern Davao Campaign until the end of the Second World War. The native (and official) language spoken in this province are Kamayo(also known as Mandaya), Cebuano is also spoken here, and Chavacano de Davao being spoken by the people from Compostela Valley and Davao City. Even some of the natives adhere to Christian faith (mostly Catholics), they are syncretic in some of their beliefs. Folklore beliefs include fairies (diwatas). Homes are usually made out of wood, with bamboo figuring prominently in many rural abodes. Second Journey to my beloved Aliwagwag falls2016Kubo sa dahican resort

Aliwagwag Falls, CateelAliwagwag Falls is the highest falls in the Philippines and I believe this falls is one of the most picturesque falls in Asia. Malamig ang tubig tapos refreshing sa pakiramdam kasi ang linaw ng tubig kaya't alam mong malinis ito. Ang ayos pa naa'y dapit na sakahunun maong maayo siya sama sa mga daga katkat ug bukid. There's zip line and hanging bridge for your friends to enjoy. Di ko nakita ang falls na ito noon di pa ito park but I know mas ok ang falls ngayon kasi madali nang makapunta kung saan ka maliligo.
Brief History: Aliwagwag Protected Landscape is a protected area that preserves a major drainage catchment in the southernPhilippine island of Mindanao in the Davao Region. It contains the headwaters of the Cateel River in the southern Diuata Mountain Range which provides the water source and irrigation for surrounding rice fields and communities in Davao Orientaland Compostela Valley provinces. It was named after the remote rural village in the municipality of Cateel where Aliwagwag Falls, the country's highest waterfall, is located. The protected landscape is part of the Philippines' National Integrated Protected Areas System and was established in 2011 through Proclamation No. 139 issued by President Benigno Aquino III. It was initially a component of the 1,927,400-hectare (4,763,000-acre) Agusan–Davao–Surigao Forest Reserve declared in 1931 through Proclamation No. 369 by Governor-General Dwight F. Davis which underwent several amendments over the years to open up a few areas in the mineral rich watershed to mining. More of Cateel |

The current dam was completed within just seven months although initial development started in 2012 was disrupted by Typhoons Bopha and Lingling (local names: Pablo and Agaton). The dam is part of the Cateel Irrigation Project, the biggest project by the Mindanao Rural Development Project, both in physical and financial terms, costing about ₱281 million. The dam is expected to provide irrigation to over 1,600 hectares of rice fields spanning eleven barangays of Cateel.
